Colombo – a vibrant city
Colombo and it’s fascinating colours, smells and people. I will put people first. Never have I met more helpful and friendly citizens – because believe me – the capital of Sri Lanka is huge. It counts about 800’000 citizens – mostly Buddhists but also a big part of them are Muslim and a smaller group is Hindu. And all of them get a long very well – not regarding their recent history, everyone tries to get along with each other and respect the culture, the beliefs. Yet – if something happens, they’re accusing each other.
